74F at 7am Will hit 84F at 4pm no rain lots of sun. Will be cooler this week, and not breaking temperatures.,but no rain. People complaining about very high electric bills. They show their bill on TV and that as far as they can go. Pay or die. Florida life is cheap, but a buck is still a buck. Its a good thing blacks came from hot Africa, and can take the heat. Double A Keep looking at the moon with Kim. Hold her hand when walking. Get a cushion for her to sit on when in the park. Have a Sunday picnic with chicken and wine. Maybe on a cold night you can share the same blanket and huddle. Nice part of huddling is "Any thing can happen" and usually does. Go for it. Bert

A crisp 35F on foggy Nov. 1 morning at 8:30 PST. Yes. PST. I was a bit confused because nowadays computer clocks, cell phone clocks, etc. are set automatically, and so I was in a bit of a quandary about how it could I could have left my locker at 8:00 AM by my alarm clock, did a bottle can search, and now its still only 8:30. For some reason I was thinking it was Sat. morning not Sun. morning. Wind is N at 0 mph. (How can it be N if it's 0 mph?)Humidity is 100%! There you go, and you though Florida was humid! Expected high today is 61F. That will be nice.

Did you notice my reported upcoming 16% cut in the price of natural gas here in Portland? How about the price of NG in Florida? Might be an alternative. Remember gas lights? No, of course you're not quite that old. But gas can be used for cooking, heating, fireplace, even refrigerator!

She has a cushion.

Sounds good.

Good ideas. As with most women that are really worthy having, it has to be a slow process, building trust and all that. They won't give their heart for a dog to chew, so to speak.
72F at 7am No breaking heat but will be 83F at 4pm Morning news has store owners saying these bums(Homeless) walking the side walk near them is killing their business. They want them dealt with. Feed them to the gaters they claim is cheaper than feeding them. Its all KKK mentality. Florida is run by EVIL men(good old boys) This is telling us that Charlie Crist is our next president now that the USA is 100% fascist. The poor and roofless in Florida will die Bert

31F at 8:20 AM PST and frosty this All Souls Day morning. I believe this is our first frost, although the temp may have dipped down to the freezing point briefly earlier. Sun is out and the expected high is 56F. Don't have to worry about staying cool here! CIT the big loan company is bankrupt and is the 5th largest bankruptcy in US history. It will cost the taxpayers 2.3 billion in bailout money that they will now not be paying back! With these huge companies sidestepping their obligations so easily, how can you blame me for considering personal bankruptcy? I think they should have paid the bailout money to the homeless, and fed the bonus baby failing bank executives to the to the alligators!
Double A Why bother with going into bankruptcy. They can only take away what you have in storage. let them (they won't) It would save you 100 bucks a month and U can use those bucks to take Kim to pizza with(two toppings),and end up with good sex. Fuck the creditors, and get layed is my best advice to you Bert

As I've said, I am thinking about the future. (Unlike many here who have given up, I think I still have one.) Under the revised bankruptcy law the best time to file for bankruptcy is when your penniless. Then all your debts will be discharged. If you wait until after you have landed that $100 per hour job, the judge isn't going to feel at all sorry for you and can make you pay back most of what you owe. I won't get far with any woman until I find a way to make some bucks, unless she's low life street trash, and Kim isn't that.

Getting cold 57Fat 7am Will only hit 81 by 5pm No rain and nice breeze. Only turn my clocks 10 minutes back each day. My biological clock can't take turning back 60 minutes all at once. I like to ease into a time change. Don;t need that extra hour of sleep. Ben Franklin did me no favors fucking with my time. Seams with the CIA throwing money at that shameful election,it relates so well with Florida's voting, you do not have to be hit over the head to know how fascist America has come in so short a time. We could not save democracy here,so how can we say we are policing the world so that people can have rights. Ask Twitty and Double A how their rights changed having no money Bert

Codl? That's what we call the days "high" around here these days!

37F here in the Siilicon Forest at 9:20 AM PST. Expected high only 59F. Calm. Umidity 93%. Sunny skies. Moonlit nights.

Then you must be ALL out of sync!

Back in the 60's, the politicians were dying to go to Daylight Savings Time here in Oregon, but the people didn't want it. So every time the legislature met, they would pass a bill instituting the time change, but someone would take up a petition to force a vote, and the people would vote it down. Then the politicians got more clever. They passed a bill allowing local option for Daylight Savings Time! People in the cities who worked by the clock liked it better than farmers in the countryside who worked by the Sun. So Portland and Salem adopted Daylight Savings time and changed their clocks, while the rest of the state stayed on standard time. Well, there was mass confusion! So the next time statewide Savings Time was put on the ballot, the people rolled over and voted it in, and we've been stuck with it ever since. But as a boy I was very stubborn, and kept my pocket watch on standard time year round!

Pretty day 71F at 8am No rain very sunny and will take Rudy to the beach. High of 82F at 4pm Rudy and I will sit where the water rubs against the shore, and look out where the water and sky come together. I will think of Darla until the stars come out. Darla is the biggest virtual star on the virtual internet. I thought she was a falling star. We must show her great respect. She is above all of us,like all stars Bert

Hey smellbert... What's the opposite of 'above me' ?

35F here in the north country at 8:45 AM PST. Was east wind last night, but it's calmed down. Expected high today 63F. A nice sunny fall day before the rain resumes again tomorrow. Yes, Darla lives, and Darla gives a ray of hope to humankind!
72F at 7am Will be an average day as it hits 82F at 4pm. Well hurricane coming up with winds right now of 75mph Hmmm I can wipe some of that egg off my face, for that makes 3 of the 5 i predicted. With global warming I will extend the hurricane season till December 1 That way I might get my prediction right on the money O ya bert

45F here in the cold country at 9:10 AM. Wind east at 3 mph. Light sprinkles of rain. More predicted (for the next week!). Humidity 93%. I hear talk of snow coming to the mountains!
Had good morning luck "harvesting" bottles and cans this morning. The Asian lady, Kim, showed up at her table outside Safeway early this morning. Had a nice friendly chat with her. She seems to prefer sitting out in the cold. That is the way I used to be. My body was always feeling too hot. But since I have been cut off from drinking, my body's metabolism has changed a lot. Now I usually feel too cold. My near starvation last spring really brought my blood pressure down, and that was a great side effect! I don't have the trouble with nose bleeds that I used to. And I have lots of stamina now.
Hope you have lots of hurricanes so you won't have egg on your face!

I had a packet of instant oatmeal that Sophia gave me yesterday. Tried to give it to Kim, because she is always getting free hot water from the Starbucks kiosk anyway, but she said I needed it. So I asked Sophia for some hot water for it, and she also gave me brown sugar, nuts, and raisins! So I had a good hot breakfast for a change on this chilly morning!

49F here at 10:39 AM PST. Overslept a bit, I am in such comfortable accommodations now! Rained most of the night. Let up this morning with some Sun shining through the clouds clearing spells with only light sprinkles. Rain in the forecast for as far as the eye can see! Wind south at 12 mph. Humidity 80%. Expected high only 52F. Kim sits outside Safeway now from early morning till late at night. I asked her if she was there now 24 hours a day now? But she said no. Sophia is here today and has already brought me a couple of sample fancy drinks from the Starbucks' Kiosk. Ate a big tray of fired chicken, my meal for the day. Safeway is doing a bait and switch with chicken labeled both $5.99 and $6.99 for a slightly different content of pieces. I think they usually only put out one of the $5.99 trays, because it is usually gone by the time I look. But this morning I found the $5.99 one! Sophia just gave me dinner entry trays! Also mentioned she could heat them or me in the microwave in the break room!
Double A Safeway is living up to its name. Drink some V 8 and even if the veggies are raw,eat them You must buy a thermos. Do you have convenient rest room? I will try to get you a NASA $25,000,000 toilet. Now rthat NASA only has 5 shuttles flights left. They might not work, but maybe you can get 50 bucks for it on ebay?? Bert

Bert, when I had a garden, I ate enough vegetables to last me a lifetime! Now I thrive on fried chicken, potato chips, sour cream, cottage cheese, candy, potato salad, pumpkin pie, nuts, ice cream, and Dr. Pepper! The food they prepare in the delis here at Safeway and down at Haggen look so good, but I never get to try it. (Food stamps don't cover it.) But almost every one of the girls who work in the delis and get free samples are about a ton over weight! Toilets are convenient here at the mall. I once thought about writing a book about them.
Double A Here is a title for your toilet novel "Best seat in the house" or "Don't forget to flush" or "Any port in a storm" Street people will find that beaches do not close their bath houses.and many have cold water showers. That was Revere Beach in 1940 Now water got so expensive it could have changed. The "great" depression was great when you relate it to our "great" recession. All day news is on the guy who lost his job and went on a shooting spree in Orlando. This is becoming more common. Obama has to create jobs, and not giving money to the rich. He is Bush warmed over O ya Bert

50F here at 6:30 PM. Not raining at the moment. Had a nice warm loaf of bread fresh from the bakery. Only $1.49.
A cop just read a girl her rights not more than 10 feet from me! I guess she or her friend are accused of shoplifting. They have it all on tape, he said. They took her up stairs for further grilling! Another thing the bad economy is bringing on. Although I don't steal from the stores, I feel I had better watch myself, knowing that others are always watching me!
Double A Wal-Mart has cameras on every isle. Shop lifting food kept me alive for 2 years. Shinning shoes was my first business, and had enough money to put a stop to not stealing as much. If they put every shop lifter in jail 60,000,000 would be behind bars. I was never caught,or they just looked the other way. People were kinder in the great depression. Bert
^3F at 8am Will be 81F at 4pm No rain, but winds will gust up to 22 mph. Hurricane will come up Florida's west coast, and arrive by Thursday hitting the Pan Handle the hardest. I will get winds of 70 and a lot of rain. Rudy and I will be sleeping under the pool table. Tornadoes will be every where. Only 2 more hurricanes to go,and I was on the money. nightbat will be glad he made me your Florida meteorologist Charlie Crist America's most EVIL governor ,and the other crook Attorney Bill MCcollum are now saying they will put a stop to bill collectors harassing the poor for money. O ya. Its their way of trying to get the poor people vote. Bert
